It’s official, our Lorenza Sparkling chenin blanc NV is a NATIONAL GOLD MEDAL winner – scoring 95 points – and just one point away from being THE BEST CHENIN BLANC in the country!
The 2020 AUSTRALIAN CHENIN BLANC CHALLENGE winners were announced in November, and only four gold medals were presented from a selection of over 60 entries from around Australia.
Fun fact: did you know we were the first WA winery to make a sparkling chenin blanc? After a formative vintage in France over 20 years ago, Jason discovered the pure joy of sparkling chenin blanc, and so, he brought the concept back home to the winery…and the rest as they say, is history!
