Rich, ripe, red berry aromas complement hints of plum, aniseed, dark chocolate and sweet American oak. A uniquely soft but full, bold and complex palate is balanced by silky smooth tannins, subtle integrated oak and a grippy finish.

Different vinification of the dominant Swan Coastal Mariginiup portion from that of the Miamup Road vineyard in Margaret River (both estate), resulted in a mix of 30% new American oak and 10% new French oak, the Swan wine pressed direct to the former, the Margaret River to the latter, in each case with used French oak making up the balance.
