PEMBERTON

In the late 90s, Paul and Jason Conti began experimenting with grape varieties sourced from growers based in WA’s cool Southwestern region of Pemberton, just three hours south of Perth.

Due to its mild & cool, pristine climate, pinot noir thrives in this celebrated region – the ideal growing conditions for this often temperamental, but rewarding grape variety.

Our first vintage was released in 2000 and the variety has since become a firm favourite among pinot devotees.

We treat the fruit with utmost respect by using the whole bunch pressing technique in our vintage basket press (pictured), which has been used in our winery for over 60 years.

Excellent relations with regional growers have enabled us to handle some of the finest hand-picked fruit from this coveted region.
